Winemakers Ron Vuylsteke and Rudy Zuidema are wowed by this wine and vote it their best vintage to date. It’s a blend of 50% Petite Syrah, 25% Tempranillo and 25% Sangiovese and is a brilliant ruby-red in the glass. Aromas are plentiful including dusty leather, bright cherry and plum jam. Warm with soft tannins and a long, juicy finish, this balanced wine offers hints of tar, maple and mocha on the palate. A delicious selection that pairs with fatty meats like lamb and venison, we also recommend veggies such as broccoli rabe and fennel.
